ABOUT ME

     A. L. Peevey, known as "Andy" to family and friends, is a life-long resident and native of Arizona. His wife and he are the parents of three children. He teaches English to international students in Phoenix, Arizona.

"Though I am a late bloomer, I have been writing stories since the third grade when I received an award for my retelling of the capture and death of the pirate Blackbeard. In high school, my senior class English teacher gave me special recognition for the new ending I wrote to Guy de Maupassant's classic short story, 'The Piece of String.' In all modesty,

I try to write stories and books that I would like to read myself. Mrinta Quest is the first book I have shared with the world, and I'm particularly excited about it because it's a collaboration with my son, Sam, who is an artist. We are already working on several more writing projects together. It's hard work, but I could never deny my drive and need to write!"
